What to do if "Wet" (fluid build up) FIP?

Please send a sample of "abdomen fluid" to our clinic as soon as possible:

If your feline has "wet"  FIP, you will need to ask your Vet to drain fluids that accumulate in the abdomen, take a cotton bud with you and wet the tip from the fluid that was drained, and post this to our office as soon a possible.
N.B.  The fluid sample will dry out on the cotton bud which is fine, we do not need the sample to be wet liquid.
Sub Q fluids at home. Approx. 80mls of warm plain saline solution of Sub Q fluids (fluids just under the skin) once a week to insure hydration for your cat from loss of vital fluids being drained.  Refer to "Home therapies" with your order we will also supply instructions, please let us know when ordering if you would like us to provide the fluid therapy set as well.
Sub Q will also assist in energy and wellness for any animal who needs support.
