Cat flu and conventional medicine

Although vaccination may sometimes help to reduce the cat 'flu' in strong health cats and kittens, the virus can often be acquired from the very vaccine it is meant to be preventing.

Other factors

The symptoms of cat flu are most frequently caused by infection from one or both of the cat flu viruses - feline herpes virus (formerly known as feline rhinotracheitis virus) and feline calicivirus.

Alternative natural medicines

We have seen that if we use alternative oral nosodes immunizations ie feline influenza Oral nosodes as a prevention to vaccinations, cats and kittens become stronger to many other illness ailments because their body has be free from side affects and stresses of the vaccine drugs.  

We have also noticed, once we use natural (homeopathic) formulas for giving relief of things like "cat flu" or any other type of URI " upper respiratory infections" issues, these cat's and kitten's seems to become much stronger in immunity against contacting infections and virus, even when exposed again to flu virus's of other infected feline in their family.
