In many cases, a young dog may not be releasing all their energy, due to lack of enough running and play off the leash.  If you change this for them, you will see that they are more settled and less or not interested in chewing up objects or digging holes or barking etc.

It is all nervous over energised animals. If just hyperactive or pacing (especially at night) also look at our Hyperthyroid balancing formulas if clinging and pacing at night in the older dogs - physcial and emotional level support. Making sure that your young teenager pup is getting two to three timesdaily of running about - off the lead.

They need to burn off some of their excess energy - 10 mins of play and running a number of repeats of this each day while growing up will really help settle your pet. Even small terrier dogs etc are full of energy so just because they are small does not mean that don't need to run about and play.
